The Inquiry approach to Teaching

The Teacher Quality Collaborative hosted an Inquiry Expo on January 27, 2005 at the Columbia Koger Center for the Arts.
Over 500 teachers, faculty and community guests attended the EXPO to see presentations and workshops relating to
innovative practices.

The USC Professional Development School Network and the USC PT3 project helped support the conference that featured
master teacher and University faculty. Troy Cline, Senior Science and Educational Technology Coordinator, NASA Goddard
Space Flight Center, was the evening's key note speaker. His topic was "Inquiry and Student Investigations: Preparing
Students to Explore their Universe".

Our thanks to the many people who presented and attended this celebration of teachers and teaching education.
