Fifth grade students at Hyatt Park Elementary are painting markers for their outdoor garden habitat. The habitat includes a South Carolina Fence Garden, a Butterfly Garden and multiple gardens of flowers and vegetables. Each grade level CD through Fifth has participated in the planning and planting of the habitat. Teachers have conducted inquiry lessons and students are responsible for watering, weeding, maintaining, studying and investigating what goes on there.
