Bradley Elementary School "Rounds"
Fall 2001 - Spring 2002

Bradley Elementary School
Bradley Elementary is one of 17 Professional Development Schools where the USC College of Education places practicum students and interns. Team members from USC Teacher Quality Partners Project worked with Bradley teachers to setup a "pre-rounds" visit in order to initiate the "rounds" for fall 2002.
Bradley Middle School Bradley Middle School
"Rounds" is initiated at Bradley Elementary in Ms. Margo Jackson's first grade class. The lesson observed is part of an inquiry project that helps LEP students feel more integrated in the regular classroom. Ms. Jackson's multi-ethnic reading instruction program is part of a study to explore methods to help LEP students transition from their native language via small group reading, writing, and speaking activities.

Members of the tripartite Dr. Scott Gwara, Dr. Christie Friend, and Ray McManus from the USC Department of English, along with Dr. Jane Zenger from the USC College of Education conduct a classroom "pre-rounds" session.
