Meadowfield Elementary School "Rounds"
Fall 2001 - Spring 2002



USC pre-service interns Shanna Downing, Rebecca Sloan, and Kim Harrower attend a "rounds" observation in master teacher Mary Jo Lounsberry's first grade class.

Dr. Nate Carnes from the USC College of Education is one of the tripartite members that participates in "rounds" at Meadowfield Elementary.

During the debriefing, Ms. Lounsberry was very interested to find out all that the interns had observed in her classroom. She was also eager to share her classroom strategies with the interns. Dr. Carnes explained some of the teaching concepts that he observed in Ms. Lounsberry's classroom.
